A mining area of andesite (basalt) located in Rengasjejer village, Cigudeg district, Bogor regency, West Java province covering 20 hectares land parcel currently in exploration stage. Drilling results in the area of 5ha indicates approximate of 14 million cubic meters reserves.
A mining area of andesite (basalt) located in Sumur village, Ketapang district, Lampung province covering 30 hectares land area currently in exploration stage. Drilling results indicates approximate of 11 million cubic meters reserves.
In total The Group’s controlling bauxite reserve area of 59,037 hectares in exploration and exploitation stage concentrated in Tayan, West Kalimantan. Commercial operation has started since 2007 and mainly exported its product to refinery offtaker in China. In September 2012 Indonusa has signed a deal to develop alumina refinery in Indonesia with Chinese Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd., (Chalco), China’s largest alumina and primary aluminum producer and the world’s second largest alumina producer. The cooperation is targeting to be the first 2 million alumina refinery facility in Indonesia. Further in Oct 2013, Joint Venture Agreement was signed in witnessed by President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudoyono and President of People’s of Republic of China Xi Jinping.
Concentrated in Papua main island, Intan Jaya and Puncak district area covering areal of 25.170 ha. Currently in exploration stages.
